ARMY WEST POINT Club Hockey competes in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) as a member of the Division II Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey (MACH) League. A club recognized by the U.S. Military Academy (USMA) Directorate of Cadet Activities (DCA), its mission is to provide an arena for cadets to develop themselves physically, mentally, and interpersonally through the sport of hockey. The team receives and appreciates assistance from the USMA Superintendent's and Parent's Funds, through donations from graduates, parents, and USMA supporters.

USMA cadet-athletes comprise the ARMY WEST POINT Club Hockey team. All cadets must meet rigorous academic, military, and physical standards. Cadet team members originate from 15 states and played at High School Varsity, Midget Major AA, AAA, and Major Junior levels. Cadets who matriculate successfully from the USMA are commissioned as 2nd Lieutenants in the U.S. Army with an active duty commitment. ARMY FALLS IN REgIONALS
ARMY WEST POINT Club Hockey (11-11-0) closed the 2016-2017 season with its second-straight MACH playoff berth. Then, with its first ACHA Southeast Regional bid, the #11 cadets faced an offensive juggernaut in #10 University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). UMBC broke open a 2-2 game in the second period with two unanswered goals, then cruised to an 8-4 win.
